Breakfast on the go: How to Make A Strawberry Oatmeal Smoothie

In today’s fast paced world, no one has time to sit at home and eat a nice hearty breakfast. Healthy smoothies are a perfect morning pick-me-up and will keep you full until lunch time rolls around. A personal favorite of mine is vegan strawberry oatmeal smoothie (no I am not a vegan, but I just love the flavor and the energy it gives me to start my day.) The recipe makes 2 servings: 1 cup soy milk; 1/2 cup rolled oats; 1 banana broken into chunks; 14 frozen strawberries; 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract; 1 1/2 teaspoons white sugar.
